Overview
An easy-to-use app for submitting expenses, uploading receipts, and tracking reimbursements, while helping finance teams review and approve claims quickly and accurately.


Problem Statement
Employees always struggle with the complex process of submitting expenses, keeping track of receipts, and ensuring timely reimbursements.

Project Goal
To build an easy-to-use system that helps employees submit expenses and track reimbursements, while helping finance teams quickly check, approve, and manage expenses accurately.

We conducted interviews with employees, finance managers, and HR personnel to understand their needs and pain points:
To find pain points in expense submission and processing to design a simpler, faster solution.
Employees had too much paperwork and often misplaced receipts.
Finance teams reported manual verification errors and delays in processing.
Managers struggled to approve expenses without clarity on budgets and policies.

Surveys were distributed to gather quantitative data on the current challenges faced during expense submissions and reimbursement:
78% of respondents struggled with organizing receipts.
65% of employees didn’t know the status of their reimbursement until it was paid out.
