Credit App Case Study
Overview
The Credit App is designed to provide invoice financing to dealers, helping them expand their businesses efficiently.
Problem Statement
Dealers and distributors still use emails, calls, or spreadsheets to request invoice financing.
These manual methods take time, lead to mistakes, and don’t show the status of finance requests. It’s also hard to manage multiple anchors or keep track of overdue payments.
A digital platform is needed where dealers can upload invoices, apply for financing, and track their requests in real time. This would improve cash flow, avoid delays, and help their business grow smoothly.

Project Goal
1 -Digitize the invoice financing process
Create a centralized platform that allows dealers to upload invoices and request financing in a structured, secure, and easy-to-use way.
2 -Improve visibility and transparency
Provide real-time tracking of invoice status (under review, financed, rejected, overdue) to reduce confusion and follow-ups.
3 -Support multi-anchor and program participation
Enable dealers to manage relationships with multiple anchors and switch between programs seamlessly.
4 -Enhance financial decision-making
Give dealers access to their finance history, overdue data, and available credit to make better funding decisions.
5 -Reduce manual errors and delays
Eliminate dependency on emails, calls, and offline coordination by providing a guided, error-proof digital workflow.

Design Process
I followed an interactive user-centered design approach in which we have to focus
on the users and their needs in every step.

Insights & Findings
Manual Process Dependency
Lack of Status Tracking
Multiple Anchors Confuse Users
Overdue Payment Blindspots
PID Familiarity is Low
Need for Simplicity
Most use WhatsApp, email, or Excel sheets to share invoices
Dealers don’t know if their invoice is under review, approved, or rejected
Hard to remember which invoice goes to which anchor or FI
Many dealers are unaware of PID as a separate financing product
Most dealers preferred a mobile-first app with a 3-step invoice upload flow

User Journey Map
Ideate Phase
In this stage, I collaborated closely with team members to generate ideas in the form of user flows, Information Architecture and wireframes. This was our initial phase, where we concentrated on addressing all the key points.
Information Architecture
To get innovative solutions into the hands of your users, I needed to concentrate on idea generation. Based on my understanding of the problem, I brainstormed the Information architecture and user flow to ensure smooth experience for the users.
